Below you'll find a brief description of each of our Connect Groups that are currently meeting. All groups are open, so you can join any number of groups at any time! Simply fill out the form on this page with your contact information and the group(s) you are interested in, or any questions you may have regarding groups, and we will connect with you!
Joey & Angie
Passion: Connecting younger adults into a Jesus-centered community.
Layout: A time of food, friendship, conversation, and prayer followed by an ongoing reading of Luke and Acts. Joey and Angie love to find fun activities and service opportunities for this Connect Group as well.
Day/Time: Wednesday evenings

Charlie & Kim
Passion: To share life together and encourage each other, seeking ways to recognize God’s hand in our daily living, especially in a year like this. Our motto: Phillipians 4:8 (CSB)
Layout: Our together time will always include snacks/desert, and typically start with a 3-5 minute topical study. We ask everyone to bring a verse or a thought that has been meaningful to them. Also want to hear of the highs and lows everyone is experiencing (as much as you feel comfortable sharing). One of our personal favorite things to learn are people’s histories: how God has brought them to where they are today, no matter where that is. We want to actively include opportunities to engage with folks in ways that really represent the Kingdom. These activities may be pretty simple (a visit with someone who doesn’t get out much?) or ambitious, but plan to make them a regular part of our group life. Serving can be one of the best ways to bind us together!

Layout: Intentional time focusing on and discussing the following topics: The confidence of our salvation, the full armor of God, and how to love like Jesus.

Layout: Food and fellowship that leads into a time of studying Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. Luke and Kristy will also keep an eye out for simple, practical, yet powerful serving opportunities in the community.

Passion: Communing with God and interceding for people through the power of prayer, supplication, petition, and thanksgiving.
Layout: Before Sunday service starts, the group meets, reviews the prayer guide, and then intentionally prays for 30 minutes. Also, on the 4th Wednesday of each month, any and all are invited to meet (or join online) for an hour of prayer and worship.
Location: Laurel Church
Day/Time: Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45am. Prayer nights are on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm.

After a time of study and conversation, the group enjoys an optional time of fellowship, food, and games. And women in this group not only deepen their relationships with Jesus, but also enjoy deepening their bonds of friendship and doing life together!
