What We Believe-
God
God is eternal and has revealed himself as one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Bible
The bible is the inspired written word of God that points to Jesus, the Word that became flesh. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to daily living.
Humanity
God designed man and woman in his image and after his likeness to enjoy perfect relationship with him and exercise the responsibility of stewarding the earth.
Sin
Humanity rebelled against God’s instruction. Thus, sin was ushered into creation. Sin brings distortion, damage, and death to God’s good design. We are all born into this broken and fallen state. We are all in need of a Savior.
Jesus
Jesus is the God-Man that has perfectly revealed the Father’s heart and has taken our place in life and in death and then rose from death! His resurrection means that in him we are forgiven and freed from the powers of sin, satan, and death. Jesus has ascended into heaven and has poured out his Spirit on all flesh in order that this Good News be preached and the Kingdom of God be advanced! We believe that Jesus will come back in glory to judge the living and the dead.
Faith
Based on who Jesus is and what he did, salvation is a gracious gift given to mankind from God. And it is by trusting in Jesus that we embrace and experience his salvation, the gift of being saved from sin and made right in God's sight. You don't have to, nor can you, earn and achieve right standing with God for it is by grace through faith that we are saved!
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and Son to dwell in the lives of the Church. The reason the Spirit gives life, comfort, teaching, power, and gifts is so that we are, in every way, testifying that Jesus is Lord and Savior!
